Flutter

마터는 향수나 룸 스프레이가 아닌 ‘플러터 Flutter’라는 이름으로 제품군을 부릅니다. 플러터는 향수 전용 베이스를 사용하지만 향의 목적이나 기호에 맞게 섬유, 공간 등 다채롭고 자유롭게 뿌리길 권하고 있습니다. 플러터는 아래와 같이 네가지 라인으로 구분됩니다.

Maatter doesn't refer to its products as perfumes or room sprays—instead, we call them, "Flutter." Although Flutter uses a base specifically designed for perfumes, it encourages diverse and creative application on fabric, spaces, and more, tailored to individual olfactory purpose and preferences. Flutter is divided into four lines as below.

001 blends calming chamomile, marjoram, and lavender — like the soft rustle of a warm baguette leaf.

Chamomile soothes the nerves, marjoram offers gentle balance with its grounding nature, and lavender spreads peace through the body and mind, easing tension.

005 Braxton

Mint Sauvage, Mandarin, Lemon, ...

005 Braxton blends soft, cooling mint that cuts through stagnant thoughts as if gently numbing them, while mandarin slowly warms the cleared mind, guiding you into presence.

Braxton is ideal for meditation, moments when you need to refresh before focusing, or when you wish to awaken your 5th or 6th chakra.
After the initial coolness of mint, citrus notes follow, and you’ll feel the careful steps of mandarin wrapping your heart in quiet warmth and resilience.

110 King Jasmin envisions jasmine petals, long faded under the winter sun, finally embraced by the gentle warmth of spring light.
It evokes the image of a noble spirit, draped in white lace, ascending to a throne of grace after a long season of endurance.
From the crisp nuance of a late winter breeze to the soft, velvety thickness of jasmine petals, 110 carries an elegant warmth born of quiet triumph.

"When we split things, Things inside are unseen."

111 is a raw and unflinching scent inspired by the image of a lily.
A lily that bursts into bloom, parts its leaves, scatters messy pollen, and vibrates with scent — unmistakable even when unseen. Though floral, 111 evokes the intimate, forbidden act of pressing one’s nose to the hidden openings of flesh, seeking a scent that is both seductive and untamed.

It begins with the intense lily bloom, then unfolds into the memory of honey dried on dishes and cutlery,
and finally softens into the warmth of brown wild animal fur, intruding into the scene like a tender cloud of pollen.

113 C’est Tout evokes the refined clarity of a moment of realization.
The unmistakable nuance of bergamot, patchouli, and blackberry opens the scent, flowing gently into rose and santal accords, with frankincense completing it with an intellectual grace.

13 Milkstone

Coconut, Frankincense, Mint, Lemon, Ho Wood, Sandalwood Accord, ...

13 Milkstone is inspired by Milkstone, a work by Wolfgang Laib.
Laib sands the top of white marble ever so slightly, creating a gentle hollow.
He cleans the stone with water, lets it dry, then pours a small amount of milk onto its surface.
With his index finger, he carefully traces the rim, spreading the milk into a smooth, even layer.

13 offers a mystical balance of milky sweetness and the cool, mineral weight of white stone, anchored by deep woody notes.
It symbolizes the sweet energy of the earth and the sublimation found in spiritual ritual — and the space between.

Flutter Echo of Work

에코 오브 웍은 미술 작품의 파편이거나 작업의 의도, 개념, 가치, 감각을 바탕으로 재조합하여 완성하는 블렌드 라인입니다. 이 라인의 각 공병은 즉흥적인 드로잉과 레터링으로 장식하여 제작됩니다. The Echo of Work is either part of an artwork or reassembled based on the intention, concept, value, and sensibility of the work. Each bottle of this line is decorated with spontaneous drawings and lettering.

Patchouli, Tuber Rose Accord, Balsam, Oak Accord, YlangYlang, Cinnamon, Moss, ...

R's place is in a small forest near the sea in the West.
The place was built with agate columns and had no roof.
R ordered the people to decorate the house
with Patchouli and Tuberrose blooming in the backyard
Everyday as the sun beams through the holes illuminating,
The decoration slowly melted down to the floor.
R ate while spilling foods and drinks.
She/he was loved a lot.
R no longer lives there.
The place was rusted and mossed by the sea breeze
and the melted tuberose and patchouli permeated into the ground.

0000 PRRW opens with lush, radiant tuberose, diffusing a tangy brightness over damp, shadowy greens of moss and patchouli, softened by balsam. Cinnamon and oak accord deepen the trail, shaping PRRW’s rich and distinctive aura.

The Chairman, whose face is pale and dusted in white, used to spend time with the girls of vanilla in his room, always whiskey in hand. Now he has passed away. They beautified and placed him in a birch coffin. They smile through tears, feeling the wings of warmth surrounding their bodies, safe and grounded by the eternal love of him, a quiet surrender, and the comfort of resting entirely upon him.

0001 The Pale Face opens with a refreshing blend of juniper berry and amber, carried by the crisp depth of balsam notes. It unfolds into a soft floral heart of bergamot, rose, and ylang-ylang, sweetened with a touch of vanilla. Finally, musk, benzoin, and patchouli anchor the scent with a deep, grounded finish—evocative of the warm embrace of aged whiskey.
